Age Definitions

12’s Division = 6th Grade and below – unless you turn 13 before July 1, 2024, then you are a 13’s
13’s Division = 7th Grade and below – unless you turn 14 before July 1, 2024, then you are a 14’s
14’s Division = 8th Grade and below – unless you turn 15 before July 1, 2024, then you are a 15’s
15’s Division = 9th Grade and below – unless you turn 16 before July 1, 2024, then you are a 16’s
16’s Division = 10th Grade and below – unless you turn 17 before July 1, 2024, then you are a 17’s
17’s Division = 11th Grade and below – unless you turn 19 before July 1, 2024, then you are a 18’s
18’s Divison = 12th Grade and below

*Players will not be permitted to play below their grade level even if they are young for their grade.

AAU: Age Definitions (2024)

18 & under (12^th Grade and below)

Players who were born on or after July 1, 2005
or born on or after July 1, 2004 and is a high school student (12th grade or below) during some part of the current academic year.
Once a player participates in a club or varsity program for any university, college, community college or junior college, he or she is ineligible to compete

17 & under (11^th Grade and below)

Born on or after July 1, 2006
Or born on or after July 1, 2005 AND are in the 11^th grade during the current academic year

16 & under (10^th Grade and below)

15 & under (9^th Grade and below)

14 & under (8^th Grade and below)

13 & under (7^th Grade and below)

12 & under (6^th Grade and below)

11 & under

10 & under
