ABOUT INSIDE OUT JUNIORS

Inside Out Juniors is a youth sports development program in affiliation with the United States Volleyball Association (U.S.A.V.) and the Amateur Athletic Union (A.A.U.). It is organized by a group of select area coaches and administrators that are dedicated to training young athletes (ages 10 to 18 years) to be the best volleyball players they can be. This juniors club development program supplements our local junior and senior high school interscholastic programs. The season runs from late March to the end of June.

Mission
Inside Out Juniors is a full-time volleyball facility that conducts programs designed to develop highly proficient volleyball athletes and teams among area youth. Inside Out Juniors hopes to provide a financial assistance program so that, someday, no athlete will be denied participation for lack of financial resources.

Philosophy
The philosophy of Inside Out Juniors is to "teach each athlete to realize that excellence is born in belief in oneself and success comes from dedication and practice."
Inside Out Juniors participants will:
- Develop a sense of respect for themselves, their teammates and the community.
- Develop a personal understanding of the value of athletics in their lives.
- Develop an awareness of their physical and mental capabilities as well as limitations.
- Be as good an athlete as they desire to be.
- Have information and methods available to market themselves as potential collegiate athletes.
- Develop an understanding of the importance of teamwork and dedication both on and off the court.

Success
Inside Out Juniors is currently in its 9th year of operation under its present name. In 2005 we had 15 teams training in Muskegon and Grand Rapids.

This past season Inside Out Juniors had teams competing both in AAU and USAV tournaments in places such as Chicago, Indianapolis, Florida, as well as many tournaments in the West Michigan area. Currently there are over 70 former Inside Out Juniors players who are on collegiate teams or have played at the collegiate level.
